As a result of our seminar, I believe each of you will have a better understanding of brain injury and what an impact it has on everyone involved. The Monrovia Elder Task Force invited me to speak at their meeting. Representatives from the City of Monrovia, Fire Department, Police, Well Fargo Bank, etc. where in attendance. Thank you for the warm welcome and your interest in learning more about brain injury. We were well received at the Eagle Rock Seventh-Day Adventist Church. I presented a lecture on, recognizing some of the strengths and weakness of brain injury. Glendale Adventist Medical Center invited me to speak at their four day Neuroscience Workshop. This workshop is for continuation training of the nursing staff. BRAINSTORMING-Life After Acquired Brain Injury SEMINARS Dr. Camp and myself have been active in the brain injury/caregiver world for ten years. We founded and facilitate "Brainstormers," a support group for the brain injured and their families. We have given lectures for the medical departments at University of Judaism and Cal.State LA. At Good Samaritan Hospital, we have given several presentations to the Defibrillator Support Group, facilitated by Dr. D. Cannom. On several occasions we have made presentations to the Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Rehabilitation Department.Our latest presentation was for the Glendale Medical Assistants. Several articles have been written about us in the local papers, furthering the education of brain injury. We are always looking for ways to provide additional information to groups who are interested in learning more about brain injury or caregiving. A panel of members, brain injury survivors and caregivers, can also be present to provide first hand information as well as answer any questions you may have. AROD PRODUCTIONS
